When I am in Florida, if I'm anywhere near Sarasota, I like to drop into the Marie Selby Garden. They have a beautiful collection of plants, a peaceful koi pond, and lovely grounds that are visited by a number of Florida's birds. I think this is a great egret (or maybe a snowy egret) but there are a few similar looking species and, since I can't see the color of it's legs here, I'm not positive about it's identification.
