I saw this solitary skater today at the pond. He seemed a little unsteady on his feet and I wondered if he had come out by himself to practice. Of course, his unsteadiness might have been more due to the bumpy surface of this natural, and only roughly cleared rink.
@koalagardens Yes, that pond skating makes me nervous at the best of times. This year we have been fluctuating from above to below freezing every few days. After a few days below freezing the ice seems quite solid, but it doesnât take long with the temp above freezing for it to start to break up.
