Rainbow Lake Sunset

Well, this was a trip! Inspired by this photo by Mona:

and being the proud owner of a polarizing filter,I decided to take on the challenge.
After many disappointing attempts with different plastic items and much cropping, tweaking and ETSOOI-ing I end up with this. Might show better on black.
