I never paid much attention to the structure of a peanut shell till I started doing macro photography. It was interesting to see, in this shot, that there is an interior framework much like the stays in an old fashioned corset.
ha definitely would be a challenge winner - you know I remember noticing this when peeling peanuts as a child, but without really thinking about it, I just remember the feeling of the stringy bits. But you description and photo made me immediately go like WHOA of course!
