Got a strange one today. I've been posting a few pictures lately from the lower part of a trail I visited on the weekend. The lower part is magical and looks like it could have fairies tiptoeing through the bluebells. The upper part doesn't have many bluebells but it does seem to have a number of 'ent' trees. That is, trees that look as if they might have been ents at some, not too far distant, time. I'm not sure this collage works, because the pictures may be too small to show enough detail to see the 'ent-i-ness'. But I'm not sure any one of the pictures is interesting enough to stand on it's own, and besides, it really is the presence of a number of them that tells the story.
A fascinating topic! I think you’ve presented the Ents wonderfully. The ent in the bottom of the column I find interesting; the ‘eye’ and the shape of the ‘forehead’ looks like it could really have been a real ent! Those woods are a really neat area to explore.
