I've had my Japanese red maple for years but never really noticed its seeds until this year. They seem to hang below the branches and get hidden under the leaves but, this spring, I noticed a few that were hanging below the lowest branches. I brought this little cluster inside to photograph.
How beautifully you've presented them! I thought I didn't have this type of Japanese Maple, but I recall commenting on "the little pink flowers" it was currently bearing! Perhaps I'm also so fortunate to have some!
