Well, I took a hand knit class (one day project) over the weekend. It was the first time I tried a knitting craft. I thought a throw blanket might be a nice birthday gift for my daughter-in-law on Sept 20.
I understood how to start, how to finish, how to count stitches and the in-between. Where I had trouble was the end of each row and switching directions. I seemed to miss a loop or something. I will see if I can get some help fixing it or find out if I need to begin again. I am not going to give up.
It's lovely and made with the heart. Those slight imperfections are what makes it even better.
The image is great and could easily be an ad for the class.
It's squishy and soft looking. Too bad you don't live close. I would have helped you. Was this knitting done on your hands literally (without needles)? That's a bit tough for me, the long time knitter.
