This place is VERY near to my heart, as the firs time I shot images of it was on the first anniversary of of my first wife and my an wedding anniversary on 4/3/03. She had just died in January of that year, and I took the 16th of April off work, and just took off for somewhere, did not know where, to get out of town and be alone with my thoughts and memories of her.
I ended up at Stan Hywet Hall in Akron and found this ailee'. I took some shots of it, and later .... in 2012, I began to sell my photography, and this was one of the images that sold in the first 3 months (one taken in the spring, when all of the leaves were off, and just a few daffodils were on the path ....it is called The Path). I have the spring shot hanging up in my home, and it is on sale EVERY time I have a show and has sold many times. So....your appreciation of this image means a lot to me. Thank you.

A place of peace.
Very calming capture.
