The Old Man in the field chills as he waits for spring
I have shot this tree once in the summer last year, went looking for it again on this day. It just popped up on my left all of a sudden, after coming around a slight curve and down a small hill. Had to go about 1/4 mile down the road before I was able to turn around in someone's driveway, go back and stop in a not very safe spot on the road (very close after coming over a rise in the road) to shoot this. The tree reminds me of an old man, experienced, kind of doing what he wants, because he feels to a certain extent that he has "earned it" .... showing the young bucks how to weather adversity. Yeah.....
