This is the highlight of the carnival and the longest horse race in the southern hemisphere! 33 jumps and the horses actually leave the race track (in foreground), cross roads and go into the "Briarly paddocks." Best viewed large to actually see the horses about to jump. And the tradition for us, the spectators, is walk up a hill to watch the race. Which of course we did!
