Sadly 13 years ago today my mother passed away. This is her bucket of Veltheimias that I have had since we packed up and sold her house. I haven't done anything other than water them in summer! When I went out to photograph them for today, Jack went for a look too - very fitting as mum loved cats :) I miss her every day.
What a lovely way to remember your mum Denise. These are lovely flowers - I have never heard of them before. Must not grow in Qld. I still have quite a few of my mum's plants around to keep me company. :-)
I was wondering what you were going to say when you mentioned your Mothers passing and a bucket. Lovely to have a treasured reminder, just the same as my hat my late Sister bought me and a palm plant that I have nurtured for years. By the way JACK don't you even think about it. FAV for the treasured memories.
Beautiful reminder, I miss my mum too it's 6 years this weekend and tomorrow we have our yearly family gathering, no sadness. Just smiles that she brought us all together, we are a much closer family nowadays:-).
