Why am I so messy?

I look at all the beautiful Christmas baking photos posted on 365 and wonder why is that when I bake, I end up in a big mess!! And then you should have seen the floor and me :)

Great capture full of lovely messy detail and shapes Denise, is there such a thing as a non messy work surface when baking, we will be baking (always a joint effort) Saturday morning, we have grey slate flooring in the kitchen can guarantee it will be white before the baking is done, lol:)
