My latest sewing project is a dressing gown. I have so much fabric stored away that I really must use up some instead of buying things. That’s the idea anyway.
I bought this peacock material a couple of years ago. It’s some sort of stretch jersey. It’s lovely and soft but has turned out to be the worst fabric known to mankind! It slipped around all over the place while I tried to pin pattern pieces on it. It very nearly all went in the bin!
It’s a wonderful thing making your own clothes.
