My inspiration for today's shot failed miserably. Everything was set up and ready to go and I pushed the button with "take photo" written on it. By the time the 10 second timer that I'd left on last night had finished it's countdown the world had moved on, as had my shot, so you're stuck with this.
Just move along, I won't be offended in the least.
I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
@gigiflower Are you saying my selective colour is wrong? ;) My first shot went wrong, which was a much braver, bolder fire than this but there was only ever going to be one chance to catch it, so I took this instead.
This is lovely. Not quite sure what you were orignally wanting to achieve, but this is just as nice, I'm sure. Love the colour selection with the black and white.
I think this is fantastic! Sorry to hear this shot did not work out as you would have liked. I love the selective colouring and the composition is divine. Great sense of movement as well.
I can understand disappointment based on what you thought in your mind would happen, but this is a really cool shot! Love the selective color! Happy accident I say.
Well, this is a cool shot, even if it pales in comparison to what you had planned for today's shot. If it is any consolation at all ( in the misery loves company vein) I have often been bitten in the butt by left behind camera settings, which destroy what would have been a great shot. Sometimes a delayed shutter timer and sometimes an exposure compensation. Always so very frustrating.
@gardencat thanks very much - it's frustrating alright, but these things happen I guess! @georgiat thanks very much @shawnasays thank you, appreciated @denisefuller thanks very much :) @dh what you missed = man on fire. But thus shot has grown on me!
Maybe it was the dead teddy bear's spirit coming back to reclaim something. Maybe his spirit had something to do with that damn timer? But, you don't believe in any of the spirit mumbo jumbo, do you! Needless to say, we are all our own hardest critic, as it should be. How would you get better if you thought everything you did was amazing?
@cindyloo Thanks again :)
@golftragic thanks - the more I look at it the more bearable it becomes!
@creativefool thanks very much, always appreciated

Sweet selective coloring and very creative
@nookie72 Thanks very much...I'd quite like to see the results too!
