I took the opportunity of a brief break in the rain to get some fresh air - unfortunately we now have gale force winds, so said fresh air was forcibly inserted into my body through every available orifice.
This was taken on the Tariki Straights, about 25 minutes South of New Plymouth.
Taraki is a "special" place where the men are men and the sheep are nervous, using a camera in public is a form of witchcraft, and husbands and wives rest easy at night in the knowledge that if they do get a divorce they will always be brother and sister.
Best viewed against the black again.
I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
Ok....I am holding my ribs your comments made me laugh so hard!! I love the ominous look of the clouds and the small spot of blue sky and light. It reminds me of darkness and hope! Really love it!
@chippy1402 Thank you very much :) @deliad Hopefully the worst is over, apparently we get to have a fine weekend... @ceilidh They're very wind blown actually, but thanks ;) @golftragic Thanks, I decided to stay indoors as much as I could... @rachelwithey Thanks very much - all I can say is that your turn will come... @andrewkru Thanks very much, always appreciated @wearing0 Thanks to mother nature - I'm just the idiot behind the camera! @annied No wind anymore, but there's more tomorrow by all accounts. I can't wait. Everytime I go outside I come back in looking like a cross between Alice Cooper and Chewbacca. @creativefool Double thanks to you :)
I don't care for your photo because I'm laughing so much from your story. Definitely what I needed after my day at work. Are you one of those men that the sheep are nervous around?
@gigiflower LOL, pleased to be of assistance - let's just say that mint sauce is my favourite cologne... @lisatown thanks - it should noted that it's quite difficult to take a photo when backed into a corner!
@kimkyra You're welcome - I can only cope with so much makeup!
