I had no intention of photographing the full moon last night because I was quite possibly too inebriated to be trusted with a camera. Instead I took my shot at 7am from the privacy of my garden. I was in pyjamas at the time. Not a particularly inspiring shot, but them's the brakes.
I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
I went out to look and there was nothing to see but cloud cover - this morning at 7am - well my eyes were closed hahahaha
I think this is a beautiful image - the shades of purple are delicious
Wow, what a magical sky, ours was grey , a very rare occurrence in my neck of the woods, and this wet stuff appeared, in fact my rain gauge finally worked. Love the moon :-)
A cracking shot, Graeme. Love the silhouettes of the trees against that warm, colourful sky.I have to say that I'm impressed you were inebriated last night and still managed to get up at 7:00am, then straight outside in your jimjams with camera in hand...brilliant lol!!
@wanabe No rain for us today, beautiful day after 4 days if wind and rain, thanks very much @hermann thanks very much - your rain gauge would have worked over time here last week! @spanner thanks very much @carlt thank you, appreciated @julzmaioro thanks - every now and then I'm in a "delicate" mood ;) @gigiflower Thanks, and Oh good god no - at 7am and in my pyjamas I'm as far from pretty as Henry VIII is from being alive. @terryliv thanks very much :) @davie Thank you very much...we have two greyhounds so the option of staying in bed on any given day is nonexistent!
@jess1204 thanks very much, it was a very peaceful morning once we got past the smell of alcohol... @lynnilou thank you very much, appreciated as always :)
@andrewkru thanks very much @ukandie1 thank you, appreciated @firefly8642 thanks to Mother Nature ;) @wearing0 thank you, appreciated @vignouse thanks very much - I'm not to sure about being called "a big pale disc against a black background" but it's not the worst name I've been called ;)
@dibzgreasley I think it was foolishness rather than dedication, but thanks all the same! @rachelwithey thanks - there a natural bush area just over the road from home, so it made for the perfect silhouette @livvy thanks very much - the person who took it is not often calm... @gazbadger thanks very much indeed :)
lovely - just lovely (and this makes me think perhaps I should be more willing to try taking shots in the early am versus the midnight witching hour when I am.....ahem......happy with wine.....)
