We have artist friends who live a 3 1/2 hour drive away from us, very close friends in fact. One of them shares my fascination with flames, skulls, bones and sharp things so while we had an excellent weekend away (complete with alcohol, good food, good friends and sleeping on floors) I also came away with an opossum skull, 2 jaw bones and this addition to the skulduggery family.
An excellent weekend was had by all but we're all a touch tired and just in time for work tomorrow.

Its a shame you have to go to work after this heavy duty weekend! Maybe the photos will mean more than just old bones. This particular photo is quite spectacular with the lighting!

Opossums are not the same as possums. I tried to read more and find out why but rapidly became bored and decided to move on to researching other more interesting things.
@graemestevens I knew that they were different and that is the extent of my knowledge - except possums are prettier - however I think the opossum skull may be more interesting.
