Tomorrow morning, bright and early, we're heading away for a week of camping. Far away from the internet, phones and the maddening crowd. I have packed everything I need (my camera, a vast variety of wine and 7 pairs of underwear) and the hounds have gone to the boarding kennels for their holiday as well which makes for a rather sad and empty house at the moment. The Christmas decorations have been packed away, which makes me happy again. I promise faithfully to bombard you all with holiday photos on my return.
I was going to do this shot as a high key, but it would have looked even more peculiar as you would not be able to see my legs at all.
I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...

Have a great holiday, love getting away from it, we are off on the 7th for a couple of weeks of camping bliss leaving the hound behind but taking the horses. No internet and as my grandson says that is coming with us in we are having technology free time.
This is very funny! With all that wine you won't care about the wind, so the gas mask may not be too useful. The spiky thing is good for hauling in the odd white shark which I believe is hunting in your waters. Having 7 pairs of pants means no washing. You will have a ball!
You surf? I'm impressed. I tried surfing a few years ago in Cocoa Beach, Florida. My nearest experience with death, yet, never again. Cool shot, as usual.
Well you look all ready for your venture into the outside world.....I hope the tent next to you can cope with your shenanigans!

you had me at vast varieties of wine......with wine and a camera.....there's no telling what vacation photos may crop up (of course in my case they'd probably be rather blurry, shots of the floor, etc) - enjoy!
