This shot occurred to me yesterday as I was lying in the suspicious comfort of the dentists chair having some root planing done (I believe even he got nervous when I gave a rare smile). Root planing is an incredibly interesting experience to undergo if you ever have an excess of cash and nothing to spend it on. I fail to see why they give dentistry and the art of filling a persons mouth with cotton wool, swabs of assorted sizes and as many hands as are available at the time Dental "Therapy", however having had one root canal I will put myself through almost anything to avoid a second. Except listening to Justin Bieber. Nobody should have to go through the indignity of that.

gruesome I don't understand how this relates to a root canal or root planning. I've had several root canals done and could almost fall asleep while they were being done. I felt no pain, and I wasn't sedated either.
@bill_fe I'm blessed with incredibly sensitive teeth. I don't know what I did in a previous life to deserve it but I don't know how this can't relate...gruesome ;)

Well at least you didn't have to undergo a root planning and having to listen to Justin B in the background at the same time.

Great shot, if you're lucky, your next root canal will be accompanied by Bieber on the tube for your viewing pleasure. Imagine all the photographic ideas that you would come up with under those circumstances.

I have had root canal and it was the most horrific experience - I think Bill was snorting a whole heap of stuff before he sat in the chair lol - wish I'd tbought of that
