So, obviously I'm on extremely limited time again today...with that in mind, here is Lucy (black) and Wiz (brindle) having a snooze on the couch (where they're not meant to be). This is why I haven't had a seat on a sofa in 4 years.
What concerns me the most is that if one farts the other will inflate.

@morganmontgomeryphoto They always manage to get there first as well, and contrary to popular belief I'm too much of a softy to kick them off! @monty147 We do have another one...it's usually taken by Mrs.S and Daughter S well before I get there!
well I don't believe that they shouldn't be there on the sofa. Why else would you put a dog blanket on the seats? You just want us to feel sorry for you. Well it didn't work. At least the dogs look happy despite having to live with you! haha
Get one of those therapeutic pet beds, and declare it their new space. They will never use it, and thus you will always have a nice place to lounge for yourself. Add a couple of pillows, and a mini-bar and you will never even want the sofa back.
@shepherdmanswife The dog blanket is on there because they insist on flouting the rules of the house...and I'm a big softy ;) @divast8er They both usualy sleep upside down with their legs straight in the air - apparently with greyhounds it's a sign of true comfort and safety... @melston They actually have memory foam beds in both the lounge and our bedroom, so despite me never getting to sit on the sofa I do have some level of comfort ;) @jack4john They do learn quickly...

Why is it that dogs who ARE NOT intended to be on the sofas take all the sofas over?? It seems every time I tell the dog 'off!' there are three little people in my house (AND my husband, come to think of it) that wait til I leave the room and then call the dog back up on that same sofa. Oh, whoops, sorry - went off on a little rant there! Great shot of your beautiful (and stinky!) pups!

@graemestevens you have no idea how much pleasure it gives me hahahaha - when my girls were in primary school I was working at the school too - every week when the counsellor was in I would make sure I had some story to shock her with

They do look incredibly comfortable, and you would never have the heart to displace them!! I love how the grey one has his front paws on the pillow....our cat sleeps in our bed with us, and her preferred location is a double stack of pillows exactly where my head should be.....so, I scooch further down on the bed, and let her watch over me while I sleep!
