This is the horrific view of the beginning of the Ruahine Ranges from our friends house, where we have been for the last couple of days.

@je77rey Thanks very much :) @epcello Thank you kindly :) @pandorasecho It came as something of a shock to me to feel the beginning of anything approaching emotion ;) @alinz Thanks very much - wine has always been my saviour ;)
@photographycrazy Thank you very much :) @yaorenliu It's a beautiful place - I have a friend who is always in there somewhere - you may have even met him on a few of your tramps! @amandal Been there, still go there on most days :) @rosiekerr It's always coming to the rescue...a problem I'm quite prepared to live with ;)
@annied I shall consider myself suitably disciplined ;) @pamknowler She did see me a couple of times...and I dread to think what she may have said ;) @taffy Thanks, wine is my constant friend ;) @888rachel We had a great time, she's a lovely kid and she fitted right in...but there's no way I'll give away a gas mask!

Nice shot in b&w - very moody!
