Tide Line by graemestevens

Tide Line

My mother, a wise and very astute lady with formidable powers not unlike my own, always said that the last person out of the tub should clean up the "tide line". It would appear that this sage advice, nay direct order, has in this case been disregarded. Dirty buggers.
Yes, there is a storm coming and it's due to arrive tonight.
I suspect this may be best viewed on black.
hahahaha

Hah! I'd forgotten all about the 'tide line' - that took me back a few years. Another great moody seascape Graeme - you do have an eye for these.

Aways worth the read... you need to start writing a book. I want it!

@graemestevens None of us dare :)

Hehe, yes, the tide line. Were there a few people sharing the bath perhaps? A nice moody shot again, you are good at these.

Tide line!! Oh yes, I so remember. Stunning photo. I wish I had a shore-line to go photograph!
June 18th, 2015
@photohoot If I knew where to begin then I probably would...as it stands, it would just be a random collection of jumbled thoughts...
@888rachel Thanks very much - I couldn't possibly comment as to the number of participants!
@sioux Thanks very much - there's far too many places to choose from here. I might even turn around one day and photograph inland :)

Foreboding on black! Puts one in the mood to sulk! Super shot. ;)
June 18th, 2015
I do so love these dark and ominous seascapes of yours. You're right it does look better ion black where the rocks, the sky and the sea come alive.
June 18th, 2015
yep, its a mess. who left those rocks lying around? very foreboding.
June 18th, 2015
Awesome clouds. Why didn't you clean up the tide line before you took this shot?
June 18th, 2015
Nice image, very dark and brooding...
June 18th, 2015

Still in the caves? , looking out waiting to be rescued?. What if no body shows up, could you eat the camera? ....
June 18th, 2015
@graemestevens whose hair was so long he should pluck it?
June 18th, 2015
@jack4john I think the locals are about to start leaving food offerings...
@bigugly Something like that, yes ;)
June 18th, 2015
Nice, formidable shot!! I had never heard that part about the "tide line" in the bathtub, probably because my Greek mom took care of everything! Nowadays, I just take showers... ;-))
June 18th, 2015
@panthora I'm on to showering as well...mainly because we no longer have a bath!
June 18th, 2015

June 20th, 2015
@kali66 You're not far from the truth...
