Also, as so often happens, I have no inspiration today so here, have a dead bird that I found in the garden. Bloody cats. If the two greyhounds could be arsed getting off the couch the poor birds might stand a chance.
I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
Anything with four legs upto and including rabbits is fair game for Chania, but she rarely touches birds, although she does spend a lot of time watching them through the cat-flap.
@vignouse Our neighbours has 3 cats, 2 of which have the good sense to use our rooftop as a highway...the remaining one is a scourge to anything feathered. @pandorasecho Correct, and both of ours were tested as being "not cat friendly" although Lucy was deemed to be "potentially cat trainable". As we do not have cats there was no need and some of Wiz's prey drive seems to have rubbed of on her...it's in their nature, as it is in a cats to hunt like this. All I'm asking is for them to give it a warning. @northy Yes indeed. Maybe I should try to pay my taxes in dead birds. @maggiemae Don't you believe it - Greyhounds will indeed chase cats and I've seen my two do it. I've also seen them chase rabbits and small white dogs.
My greyhounds were deemed cat safe, and were, our cat though was raised by a black lab and thinks of himself as a dog so had no instinct to run. But my girl, a brindle was very dog friendly too, unless it was another brindle, femal, greyhound. Twice I saw her turn suddenly furious, both times at a different dog, but both looked like her
@kategoring It is indeed, not that he was eaten, just played with...but yes... @tonygig It'll do, thanks @gazdi There are days when I appreciate it, but I already have a blackbird skull ;) @panthora There is that...but no, to not feed my dogs may save me money but I'd miss their conversation ;) @maggiemae Every now and then...probably twice a day actually
bloody cats! I have 4 of them (which I love) but I so hate it when they capture our little feathered friends-I cant tell them off though as it is built in to them :-(
@rosiekerr It is at that, and yes, everyone seems to snigger when they see them cast on the couch... @tracie8266 It is built in and I wouldn't mind in the least if it was for food rather than play...

@taffy It is sad, but if I have a chance to get even with that cat...
@tonygig It'll do, thanks
