I've been away for work again and still am for the next few days. I thought I'd try a different hotel on this trip...everything looked fine, it was nice and clean and certainly looked comfortable.
I have never known a bed to treat me so poorly - I may as well have slept in the parking lot for all the comfort I had. Never again.
I'll try and catch up properly when I get back....

Ah that's where you've been! That sucks and I understand, I don't sleep well in hotels... Hopefully you can get in your usual hotel for the next few nights!!
I do wonder what the matter with the mattress was! Having slept in lots of hotels, I find that nowadays, the beds are the best! Perhaps its the fact of being totally by yourself?

My husband has a bad back and hotel beds just about kill him. He often takes his little air mattress with him so he can sleep on the floor if the bed is bad.
