Nowhere. by graemestevens

Nowhere.

In fact this is beyond nowhere. I had to drive through nowhere and continue on for just over an hour to get here. The risk of sodomy was immense and the banjos were the closest that I have ever heard them. I do have to complement the locals on their bush though. I like a nice bush.
I'm glad that you can compliment the locals even though they might be kiwis! Great shadows and light with both the bush and and sky!

Reminds me of the first Tarzan movie in b&w ... where is Jane??

@beluga In the back of my car ;)
@maggiemae Thank you very much - truth be told, the only human was me. And that's only just.

Ah, your backyard. This soil must be so fertile.

Ok. So before I noticed who took this photo, I read until I saw "sodomy". Then I knew.
Only thing missing were sheep and rednecks.

How is it that this is so ineffably creepy?! Must be the looming clouds and sense of isolation/impending disaster. I like it! ;)

Beautiful look into the wilderness!
February 25th, 2016
ROFLMAO! I can identify with that comment. Listening for the banjos is an important survival skill.

Hahahahaha that was just amazing... and it happens to be a fabulous shot as well.

@gazdi Everything here is fertile. I am man, hear me (roar) whimper.
@cindyloo You can't beat a bit of sodomy in the morning. Apparently.
@alinz No, out past Tarata at the back end of Inglewood. About an hour inland from Inglewood actually.
@annied The locals were as well...
@joansmor Indeed - I think they may have been watering it.
@juliedduncan Thank you very much - there was no wifi, which only adds to the creepiness ;)
@nicoleterheide Thank you very much :)
@ahleena As is not bending over without someone standing guard!
@kerosene Thank you very much - every word of it is true...
@photographycrazy Thanks very much :)

I bet our nowhere beats your nowhere , Then again Neil Young reckons his is better again " everybody knows this is nowhere". Don't know this does look a long way from anyplace, thank god tomorrow is friday or the first of 3 wine days.....
February 25th, 2016

Mac
You would be fun to drink with. This has drama and is ominous, I was more expecting a dinosaur than a bubba, though.
February 29th, 2016
@riverlandphotos I'm always more fun when slightly intoxicated...it gets positively dangerous after a few more though...
February 29th, 2016
Perhaps not a where… but definiely a when… the dawn of time...
