I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
I want to fav this awesomeness but I am afraid doing so will somehow be the catalyst to open the portal to the underworld thus, unleashing unspeakable atrocities upon human existence.........oh what the heck...YOLO! fav!
@tracyleaoh You might only live once, but I'll just keep coming back ;) Thank you very much! @kevin365 Thank you very much. Firstly, I have no idea, and B) at least it's not wholly shit ;) @radiogirl@kwind Thank you both very much - the first step is the shot of me against a black ground (in this case I'm lying down on a kitchen chair) and then in to Lightroom for the first edit of just me and making that black background blacker than black. Then it's imported in to Picmonkey where I put the clouds in, followed by the cracked earth - so basically at that point it's 3 photos overlaid, and then I erase what I don't want of the clouds and earth, leaving "me", and add a shadow. Finally I added the lightening and smoke and gave it a very light "silver screen" filter. It takes far too long, but I enjoy doing it :)
@golftragic It's one of my many (only) talents ;) @tonygig Thank you very much :) @salza Lets just say that my little remaining hair may not be remaining for long ;)
@maggiemae There are days when I fear for my safety as well ;) @jack4john Thank you very much - this one took about 1 1/2 hours. I'd already taken shots for the clouds and cracked earth, so it was just me and some lightening... @gardencat Thank you very much - I have some ointment @deborah63 Thank you very much :) @blueberry1222 Thank you - it just kind of happens. I get the idea, spend a week wondering how the hell I'm going to pull it off, take the photo's that I think I might need and then play on Lightroom and Picmonkey @vignouse I forgot my keys. Once I've got these I'll be right back ;) @juliedduncan Everybody loves the leg...especially when they look as shapely as mine... @pistache Thank you very much :)
@dibzgreasley This one...I already had the cloud and ground shots, so the selfie is just me lying on a kitchen chair against a black ground...the scarf and coat are mine...so I guess the shots themselves took about 20 minutes all up. The editing and putting it all together though - probably another 2 hours. I have too much time on my hands.
@dibzgreasley Ah yes, but I don't have the patience to sit and wait for the perfect insect or water drops that make for the amazing photos and images that other people post, so it all works out in the end ;)
