on the other side of midnight your dreams will be as dust

So...that would be an entry for the Fiveplustwo theme of "darkness"...
Somewhat shockingly this is probably better (just) on black. Or with your eyes closed.
it was a tad better with eyes closed ;-)

Well, i tried it on black but it scared me too much!!!!! wonderfully done, fav
November 18th, 2016
Compromised and closed just my left eye, since it was dark on that side of the photo anyway. Somewhat surprised to note that I still could see the entire image -- even on black. WTF?
November 18th, 2016
@mcsiegle That can only mean that my powers are increasing ;)
@trinda Thank you very much - don't be scared yet. Save it for tomorrows shot ;)
@annied I liked it that way as well.

The Master returns to form...
November 18th, 2016
Well that would make me quite happy - I would like to be the mover of this broom that sweeps my stupid dreams away as dust! I do believe this man can wield the best dust and the best photo!
November 18th, 2016
Your imagination and photographic skill never fails to amaze me.
November 18th, 2016
Love the concept, and agree with what said above: you never seaze to amaze me, where do you get the idea
November 18th, 2016
@susale Thank you very much - if I told you where this one came from you'd laugh your socks off...would you believe Frankie Goes To Hollywood?
@shepherdmanswife Thank you so much - sometimes I even worry myself....
@maggiemae Thank you very much - sadly I'm not much good with a broom...
@vignouse I could only resist for so long...if someone's going to throw a "darkness" theme out there then who am I to refuse?
November 18th, 2016
Now that's the kind of stare that can freeze blood and wilt flowers. The stuff of nightmare indeed. Excellently processed again. Awesome on black. Fav!
November 18th, 2016
dark image but then I've not got my reading glasses on. I realize I'm not a very brave person, so I'm looking at this out of the corner of my eyes-- just in case--.
November 18th, 2016
@paul10 Thank you very much - I once did a photo where I smiling. Now that was terrifying.
@joannakate I have a funny feeling that this could be one of those images where the eyes follow you around the room. You're going to just love tomorrows!
November 18th, 2016
That's your medication that you ground up to use for the dust in this shot, right?

Excellent photo.
November 18th, 2016
The eye tells the tale that the brain doesn't want to know - Fantastic as always - Fav :-)
November 18th, 2016
it is pretty creepy with just the one eye...very clever...again!!
November 18th, 2016
Dang, dude...where do you find the time to always be so stinking creative?
November 18th, 2016
Oh how cheery! xx
November 18th, 2016
awesome on black; looking forward to tomorrow's image. I sure hope it doesn't involve that damn rubber ducky again. :)
November 18th, 2016
Very "all-our-yesterdays-have-lighted-fools-the-way-to-dusty-death" of you! Fave, of course! :)
November 18th, 2016
Fab lighting, excellent on black.
November 18th, 2016
Great shot!
November 18th, 2016
Nope, I think that I'll keep my eyes open, wide open. Momentously creepy. Fav.
November 18th, 2016
Magical in such a dark and foreboding sense - well done as always Graeme!
November 18th, 2016
Awesome as always, Mr. S.!

You're a constant source of enjoyment, Graeme

@jesperani Thank you very much - the lighting was courtesy of the dining room window ;)
@juliedduncan Thank you kindly - I do like a bit of hopelessness ;)
@bill_fe That terrified me more than enough for the week thank you...
@psychographer Happy happy, joy joy, fluffy bunnies and rainbows.
@blueberry1222 If I had an answer to that I'd certainly tell you...I honestly don't know. The idea happens, rattles around my head for a few days and then finds a way out...
@hrs Thank you very much :)
@sweetsue53 Thank you very much - I've noticed that if I show both eyes you get a glare, but if I show just one you get a madman.
@scotthouston I figured I was finished with the pills anyway, so why not?
November 18th, 2016
I don't think I can close my eyes again after that. fav
November 18th, 2016
You should have warned me to close my eyes BEFORE I saw your shot....
November 18th, 2016
Certainly more unnerving on black - so definitely the way to go.
November 18th, 2016
@taffy Unnerving is just what I was aiming for...
@alinz Where would the fun be then...?
@theboxmanreturns Thank you kindly...you should enjoy today's shot as well then....
November 18th, 2016
Ashes to ashes, dust to dustmGteat for the theme!
November 18th, 2016
@overalvandaan Thank you very much :)
November 18th, 2016
This is very cool - I was waiting for you to enter this theme! Of course I'm not here as much as I need to be but I'm glad to see your entries. Fantastically dark!
November 18th, 2016
@kerosene Thank you very much - you are conspicuous by your absence and I miss your shots...but I can wait...
November 19th, 2016
Not so.. on the other side of midnight my dreams are only just beginning to terrify me! Those tassles, or whatever those dangky bits are, interest me!
November 19th, 2016
@yrhenwr Thise would be my dangly bits, you can be as interested as you like ;)
