variations on a theme (final)

"I had every intention of sharing this photograph yesterday" he said with a small, apologetic grin playing at the corners of his mouth. This was later proved to be lie as he did not share it yesterday, but rather today. The man is nothing more than a cad and a bounder.
You'll be pleased to know that this is the last in the series of horrifying sunrise/hills/fog shots.
Still looks like pretty good work to me, I like it.

Where is this Mr S? Do you live in North or South Island? We've just booked to come and visit NZ next February and just love seeing your landscapes, as well as the scarey stuff.

Great image. @shepherdmanswife keep in touch if you are around the Auckland area - there are spare beds or a place to park a camper van here! ( @dide )

@dide Thank you very much :)

@shepherdmanswife How exciting - we're in the North Island, Taranaki. We live in New Plymouth and this was taken about a 15 minute drive inland from a small town called Stratford, on the Forgotten Highway
@julzmaioro Thank you very much - I have no idea where the farmer went...
@golftragic Thank you kindly :)

Anything but horrifying :). From a technical perspective - how do you achieve the drama in the sky and keep it all nice and sharp?

@hermann Thank you very much :)
@hiro Thank you kindly ;)
@paul10 Thank you kindly - for a while there it looked like it wasn't going to work in B&W. I was very nearly officially aghast.

You seem to have been excelling yourself on the the landscape front since I have been away. I see you have also been befriending seagulls too. Some fabulous shots here. :)
