lurk by graemestevens

lurk

I have always found it difficult to run in "stealth mode" so they managed to escape. To be perfectly honest, I have always found it difficult to run. It is for precisely this reason that I invested in a car.
Good title! And a bit creepy.

Ditto to what Elizabeth @redy4et said!

Yep it's creepy, but it tells a great, if rather dark, story and there's lots of atmosphere too. Great location. Excellent light on the underpass too. I like. Fav 😊

I like the light.. and the boulders... not sure why you would want to run or in what sense they managed to escape.. they are very large and heavy and have probably been there ages!

@yrhenwr Running was once suggested to me as a way to keep fit. I still fit everything I have so I continue to see no reason to run.
@paul10 Thank you very much - I like creepy more than I like running...
@redy4et Thank you very much :)
@taffy Ditto what I said to @redy4et ;)

hahahaha as I was reading I was saying to you in my head "run? what do you mean run?' then you clarified
June 21st, 2017
@yrhenwr hahahahahahah
June 21st, 2017
@annied I did indeed. I clarified so well that I am now almost see through. Particularly if I bend over and yawn at the same time.

LOL!

At least they slowed down long enough for you to capture their picture

@aikiuser :)
@nicolecampbell If they hadn't I would have been forced in to an ungainly trot...

Sam
Lucky for them!

I like the placement of the subjects in the space. They do not seem creeped out by your presence.
June 21st, 2017
Lol - are they running? Away?
June 21st, 2017
Nice lighting and creepy!
June 21st, 2017
Lol! That made me laugh. Did they actually notice you??
June 21st, 2017
@jclaireyp Not at all - if lurking was an Olympic sport I'd win gold ;)
@radiogirl Thank you very much :)
@jesperani No woman has ever run towards me...
@lynbonn Thanks very much - and that would be because they had no idea I was there. had they turned around this wold have been a completely different shot...
@gigiflower They don't know how lucky they are...
@hermann It's the youth of today - no respect for their elders
@susan727 Thank you very much :)
@annied It'll do that to you, as will the winds of certain doom when they blow straight from the nether regions
@brigette I can't help but lurk. I think it might be genetic.

Is this what they call 'film noir'? Great use of shadow and light!
June 21st, 2017
the two figures make it...great shot
June 21st, 2017
Brilliant composition!

I'm guessing that taking your car under this bridge might have caused a bit of a stir. But then again, Im guessing you might enjoy that. You have captured a mood of suspense here so well. It is the beginning of a thriller perhaps?
June 21st, 2017
@helenhall I think you might be right, but I'm hoping it's the end of a thriller because quite frankly I don't have the energy!
@kwind Thank you very much :)
@hrs Thanks very much :)
@maggiemae Thank you kindly and yes, yes I believe it is ;)
June 22nd, 2017
Yeah, I'm not so good at running either. Nice shot though with contrasty light and interesting play of light on the walls
June 22nd, 2017
@jgpittenger Thank you very much - I try to stay still as much as possible ;)
June 22nd, 2017
