it's been a while

Actually, it's been far too long since I've been to my beach but we've been excessively busy.
For the last 6 months we've been subdividing our property - that's finally over and we've sold the rear half of the property (we bought the entire property in 2011 for $265,000 and have sold half of it now for $220,000...go us).
Now we're quickly redecorating our house for sale and will be putting it on the market in mid-January...blimey.
Then...we build.
An absolutely gorgeous beach scene with perfect composition. Awesome job on the sale of the property, hope the rest of it goes as well!

LIke how the atmosphere shows you its dark side here. those twin clouds are very strange...perfect subject for you. so cool when subject and artist meet!

Blimey. Beautiful subject, stressful topic. 😱. Hoping that the financials work out.

Fabulous photo! Good luck with all of the house stuff! We've just sold in France. We're moving into temporary accommodation next week for 6 months and at the same time extending our house in Scotland which we will move back to in the summer. It means there's never a dull moment.

December 31st, 2017
Exciting times! And you live near a beach to boot. Nice!!
December 31st, 2017
If you've sold the back half and then sell the house, where will you build your new home?
December 31st, 2017
Just look at those shape patterns. It is as though you had summened them all up to suit your composition. Well done on the sale - you clearly know what you are doing!

Love the way the clouds draw me in. No wonder you’ve had so many feelings with all that going on!though I bet you’d have them anyway. I’ve really enjoyed you marvelous quirkiness all year

Sounds exciting but stressful, are you moving far?
January 5th, 2018
@jclaireyp We'll be staying local...as for the stress, my approach is to take one day at a time and to occasionally run the fence line barking at passing strangers ;)
