Since we have moved I have been deprived of my view of this hill and now, rather than looking out of my window, have to travel to see it. Admittedly I don't have to travel very far but in my 47 years I have found that I am much happier if I have something pointless to complain about.
A first world problem if you will.
This was taken from a lookout above "my" beach and prior to being cropped a van could be seen parked at the bottom of the shot. I cropped out said van as the gentleman in the drivers seat was, at the time that I arrived, taking his mastabatory pleasure. I may also have delivered a few home truths to him at high volume.
I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
I think you should have left the van in, out of revenge.
Great you've managed to capture the phoenix in the clouds though ! (or should I say cloud phoenix ..).
Did you leave because of your neighbours who didn't understand where you were coming from? I like this for its crisp and clear silhouettes. Perhaps a bit more than thirds? I'm still trying for this!
@lyndamcg At least someones happy about it ;) @yorkshirekiwi Thanks - he deigned to show his face today for a short time! @jamibann If I have to know so does everyone else! @maggiemae We left because we bought a section and will be building - as for the thirds, I can't bring myself to care overly much for conventions and rules... @bintal You;re probably right and yes, I'm pleased someone spotted the bird as well ;)
@365karly1 It was certainly too much information for me... @caterina Thank you very much :) @dibzgreasley Stranger things have happened ;) @dh Thank you very much - he didn't think it was very funny...and it was small. @cutekitty Probably me. At some point, it's always me...sigh ;) @hermann I'd like to get a decent shot of the four horsemen but so far I've only managed to get Ronald McDonald as Famine. @joansmor Trust me, you'll only need a small flower. @littleconnie Thank you very much :)
I think it sounds like you moved to a less salubrious place Graeme, you should have gone down nearer with your camera he would soon have been off! Hope you're very happy in your new home, hope the neighbours didn't boot you out after all those strange things you get up to!
Wonderful shot of the hill and what looks like dragon clouds. Best of luck in you new house. I hope the van man got the message about using hands free.
I'm glad you didn't include a closeup of the van and its occupant!! Lovely view of Mt Taranaki, pity you have now abandoned her. Maybe that Death-Eater's looking for you.
@jgpittenger Rules? What rules? @golftragic I would never do that...he wasn't very photogenic @radiogirl Thank you very much :) @gamelee Thank you very much :) @happypat We're temporarily in a far less salubrious place...but we will survive! @sunshinepix Thank you very much :)
