wheely tired

I'm posting a little bit early as I'm away tonight. Our temporary abode while we build our new manse is a meagre 3 minute walk from "my" beach, rather than the customary 5 minute drive. There is always an upside to every situation, except I think, for whoever was driving what remains of this car.
Great contrast ... But doesn't it really p... you off that this rubbish is left on our pristine beaches... grrrr...

I would look for a roof out to sea at low tide.

Love this!

Lee
It's a shame that there are some who have an attitude of "out of site out of mind" The wheel looks so out of place here, good shot, apart for the wheel.

You torture cars now???
March 13th, 2018
the tyre becomes very much sculptural in this context - i guess you found it lying down...nice contrast to the beach scene
March 13th, 2018
I never tire of your posts. LOL
March 13th, 2018
I think his upside might be driving around heaven though heaven knows how he goes with only 3 wheels! Nice stony beach!
March 13th, 2018
Did you take that on Auto...?
March 13th, 2018
Well I really like the tyre here in the picture, compositionally I think it looks great. I guess not so much so in the wider context. Love your beach - it seems to offer so many different photographic opportunities. Also, great use of the centrally placed horizon.

This is so disconcerting. Your skills are apparent as always but .....
I did like Richard's comment about taking this photo on Auto.
March 13th, 2018
A great photo, but which sod left this on the beach to pollute it?
March 14th, 2018
Wow stunning wide angle!
March 14th, 2018
Wheely good shot, too....and does a rolling tire gather anything? the wide angle, the tonal range, the composition....and you are only 3 min from beach...I admire it all.
March 14th, 2018
A reel puzzle.
March 14th, 2018
@trinda Indeed...where or where could the rest of the car be...
@granagringa I thank you kindly, from the bottom of my twisted and blackened heart
@radiogirl Thank you very much :)
@888rachel Thanks very much - and yes, I'd like to find them and deliver this wheel...
@365karly1 Thank you very much - no skills on this one, very much as shot other than a slight tweak of the sky!
@helenhall Thank you very much - the wider context certainly sucks...
@rjb71 No, I had a driver...one would not go out without one
@maggiemae He could be driving a Robin Reliant...
@joansmor You poor thing ;)
@hrs Thanks - oddly enough, it was standing up when I arrived. Bizarre.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond I'll torture anything if it's left lying around for long enough
@gamelee I agree completely - one of the many things that thoroughly annoy me is rubbish where it should not be.
@homeschoolmom Thank you very much :)
@byrdlip Yes. maybe his brakes weren't that good...
@julzmaioro It's certainly a pet peeve (to put it politely)
March 14th, 2018
Wheely extraordinary piece of beach detritus. Careless clots.
March 14th, 2018
Like the light in this great b&w.
March 14th, 2018
Super HD capture - wonderful light and a super composition.
March 14th, 2018
@jamibann Thank you kindly :)
@littleconnie Thank you very much :)
@golftragic Thanks but yes, bastards.
March 14th, 2018
I didn't have to guess who's image this was! I like 5he sense of mystery... and it's beautifully done.
March 14th, 2018
But not too deflated by the looks of things. Jokes aside, people can be dicks sometimes. Love the sky and b&w treatment.
March 14th, 2018
@paul10 People can indeed by right genitals...leaving this sort of thing lying around is one of the many things that does my head in.
@vignouse Thank you kindly - it's just rubbish ;)
March 14th, 2018
Brilliant title and shot...
March 14th, 2018
The wheel gave you an interesting b&w shot, but still so strange and unkind to leave this laying around.
March 14th, 2018
I think you wheely need to wheemove it! White now!
March 14th, 2018
A strange thing to come upon -- but now it looks like a sculpture instead of trash.
March 14th, 2018
@taffy Maybe I should claim it and sell it...
@alinz Good lord, that's worse than what I did... ;)
@cjphoto It's a bizarre place to leave it that's for sure...and thank you
@tonygig Thank you very much :)
March 15th, 2018
Excellent shot. That wheel is probably another art installation we don't quite understand yet ..
March 15th, 2018
@bintal I hope not...
March 15th, 2018
Fabulous! :-)
March 15th, 2018
@dkay Thank you kindly :)
March 16th, 2018
Such a juxtaposition of images.
March 16th, 2018
@jyokota It would be just as odd with the rest of the car...
March 16th, 2018
@graemestevens -- yes, so true, but somehow having just the wheel . . . makes us hope the rest of it didn't get washed away with (oh, rats, that's just to depressing . . .)
March 16th, 2018
I think you are such a talented photographer that I am enjoying many of your photos as I partake of my dinner. I happen to like the tire in this one because it gives it such interest. It seems that the picture really is of the tire and the ocean and sky are the backdrop...forget how it got there or the stupid person who did it....that is not a part of your lovely photo. FAV!
March 30th, 2018
@stownsend Thanks very much :)
