A few weeks ago I posted a cotton field ( http://365project.org/grammyn/365/2011-10-01) and was afraid it might be harvested before I got back from my trip. I was really happy to see the fields are still intact so I could get a close up of a cotton boll. When I took this I didn't see the morning dew on it which was a bonus for me
Yes, this is the thing i've never seen!!!)) (I remember your field;) Looks so nice with the dew;) When i just opened your page my first-glance-impression was that it's a snowball (and i scared - already???!!!))))))
Thank you for showing this pretty thing!!
@nyusha This is pretty much the only kind of "snow" ball we get here. It does snow occasionally but usually only lasts for a day. I know that is quite different from what you are used to isn't it? I am so glad you liked it.
@grammyn You are just lucky you see snow only for a day - joy, admiration, fun, photos -and that's it)))) And we see it too a lot - from november to april, half of the year in snowdrifts,LOL))
I really liked your cotton, I've just even checked where we have cotton - not around Moscow, unfortunately, but too far away..)))
I see what you mean, Katy - dem cotton balls keep growing! The fluffy stuff in the middle looks just like the fluffy seedheads of the Japanese anemone!
