Elf Fountain by grammyn

Elf Fountain

Does anyone else see the little elf sitting on the right hand side with her back to the fountain?
Art
Yep. We must be smokin' the same thing. Or we could both be developing older eyes that, for me, tend to revert to the wonder of childhood and more vivid imagination. Maybe you'll remember my very first post to 365 "the dog in a fish tank".

If Im seeing the same thing it looks like a rabbit to me,??? Nice photo!!

@otdafot I just looked at your first shot and couldn't get the dog so maybe my eyes aren't quite there yet. I DO have an overactive imagination though!

@nlaurie OK. I can see where it might look like a rabbit. It just looked like someone sitting with their back to the splash.

Nice capture of that elf sitting by the fountain! It was nice of her to stay long enough for you to snap the shot! :)

@marilyn Thanks, Sissy. I thought so too. I had fun with this series. There were a couple of others that were kind of good but these are the best of about 35 shots!

That's no ELF..that's a fairy, specifically a Naiad (water nymph)!!! They're very shy and elusive creatures to us Big Folk...so excellent capture of her!

I'm with the nymph theory!! well done....nice to have that sort of magic about!!

Great photo - I think the elf must have nipped off for a cup of nectar when I came to look and Laurie's rabbit has jumped in her spot :-)

@jackiew Thanks, Jackie. The rabbit is the stand in so the photo isn't ruined! ;~}

Yes . . my eyesight's better than I thought! Great capture of the water. Have never attempted the waterdrop catch yet. So MANY things that I haven't tried. Where does one start. Great one, Katy. :)

@debbim Hey! cool profile shot! Thanks for your kind words.

Wow, what a great shot. i do see what looks like a woman to the right with her hand down. Someone else mentioned a frog and I can see that also but not until mentioned. Look towards the bottom left and it looks like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle head with the band over the eye on one side. Lots going on in this photo. Love it. Just have to take time to look at it, really look at it. Nice capture Katy. Do you know if I can get a long exposure on a point and shoot? I will read my manual and see. Was drooling over some cameras at Target today.

@darsphotos Thanks so much for all your nice comments, Darlene. I think most P&S cameras do not have an exposure choice. This one was actually a very short exposure which you can see if you check the exif info under details.

February 2nd, 2012
I was thinking rabbit! I cannot see an elf or horse.....
February 3rd, 2012
@espyetta Someone suggested I outline it but I think that would ruin it for me.
February 3rd, 2012
@grammyn I've just checked again and I insist: a horse with a little head. Like a dwarf horse.
