@nyusha LOL! I think that is hysterical and made for an interesting comment! !
After googling the image I am very unsure which way they go. I assumed they start out white because of the furl at the top of this one as if it had just opened but I don't own one so you are probably right about them being white first. thanks for you input and nice comment! ;~}
I do own one...it was for Mom's funeral/memorial service and one I ended up carting home. I took pics of the white flower last year. It is alive and well, but has not made any more flowers in a year and 3 months. Is that normal? Or maybe it made flowers and I forgot. That is NORMAL for me lately!
@espyetta I truly know very little about them. i am sure if you google it you will find out about the blooming pattern. Forgetting?! ......a way of life for me now! I try to not let it bother me!
Hi the green of the flower is the bract, the flowers are very small, along the stem, Good shot... Can I say, please use the manual setting, that is a good way of learning. take many shots of the subject, with different settings. Good luck.
@dannydavies So nice of you to stop by, Danny. I really appreciate the information about the flower and bract. Do you know if the green bract is before or after the white bract? Thanks for the advice about the camera as well
Great composition and I like the lily against the blue.
