By all indications this house could use some attention. The curtains are in tatters and blowing in the wind because of the broken panes in the window. The tree directly in front of the window will surely block any view there might have been once the leaves are on the tree. I certainly hope no one is trying to live there. Edit: why is the sheriff's car reflected in the window?
What do you mean tattered curtains? Those are decorative fringes. LOL
I can imagine what the rest of the house looks like. It's good you didn't show the rest of the house because as Ellen said this POV tells a story
I was wondering about that Sheriff's car, too, worried that maybe you were somewhere you shouldn't have been... or if he was just curious what you were doing. Cool capture and well-framed... :)
I would say more 'pained', always feel sorry for neglected houses...but then I think..potential, and start redocorating in my head! Great shot, conjures a story!
@digitalrn I was in a public place! Thanks for worrying about me! There would have been no way I was taking photos if the sheriff was there to haul me away!
@marilyn Thank you very much! The sheriff just happened to be in the same area ! I knew he was there but didn't see the reflection as I took the shot! I only noticed it after I uploaded!
Oh, hi officer!
Me? No, I'm not doing anything much...honest.
Just taking some pictures. Wanna see?
Yeah, I know it's just broken windows and torn curtains, but it's the COMPOSITION, don't you see?

LOL!
That is one cool reflection. Love it.
