By all indications this house could use some attention. The curtains are in tatters and blowing in the wind because of the broken panes in the window. The tree directly in front of the window will surely block any view there might have been once the leaves are on the tree. I certainly hope no one is trying to live there. Edit: why is the sheriff's car reflected in the window?

I can imagine what the rest of the house looks like. It's good you didn't show the rest of the house because as Ellen said this POV tells a story
