Trying to capture the moon and Venus which looked so good in reality and so bad in this shot! Seriously lacking skills here but this is it for tonight.
Not fail at all, viewed large it looks like it belongs in a fairy tale, love the mysterious outline and the juxtaposition of the sky lights. Great idea!
@mikegifford Ah, Mike that is so nice of you! I went back to try again after I saw what this one looked like but the moon was almost behind the trees by then and Venus was now totally behind them so.........maybe another time!
@digitalrn I did get them but I follow someone who is a master at it! I need to follow his settings and went back out to try but everything had shifted by the time I went back out. Thanks so much ,Rick for the positive comments.
I have a few photos like this as well. At least you tried and hopefully will try again. I was reading above and you did a fabulous moon shot or two. Did you use a tripod? I do like the silhouettes you captured.
