What Do You See?

I see big firm blueberries already ripe and more waiting to ripen. l see hot humid mornings and copious amounts of sweat as I pick them. I see fresh fruit on my cereal, juicy pies and possibly some jam. I'll bet you didn't see all of that did you?
This is delicious capture... I can picture all those great things you plan to prepare with them. Did you plant them? Love the variety of tones.

@anazad511 Thanks a bunch, Ana! My husband planted them several years ago. The first year it had about three berries on it! I also have access to some a neighbor planted so we have plenty to use up each year.

@jpvona I am glad you like them! thanks for that FAV!
June 18th, 2014
Love this! I love seeing the ripe berries along side the "getting readdy" ones. Maybe I'll get to taste something made from those beauties. (PS We plan to arrive in AL before the 4th!)
June 19th, 2014
@marilyn Really? Why the change? Not upset at all of course. I feel the same way about the berries and of course you will get whatever you want made out of them.
June 19th, 2014
@grammyn We are not having a "regular" Wigen 4th because of remodeling at the farm, so we decided this would be a good year to do a Bama 4th. I think we will be going to Tim's Aunt's forthe day of the 4th, but Marisa didn't know what the plans were for the night.
June 20th, 2014
@marilyn I haven't thought that far ahead to be honest! The K's and F's will be in DC on a mission trip! It may be just us! this year! We might go to bed early! (;
June 20th, 2014
Wouldn't it be fun to be in DC on the 4th!
June 20th, 2014
@marilyn We were for four years and only got close once! the crowds are unbelievable!
June 20th, 2014
I must say they are a lot prettier in the distance but are so yummy to have in your garden and share with a neighbor to make such wonderful desserts. Enjoy!
June 20th, 2014
@darsphotos Lol. I see what you mean. I hadn't really noticed the detail is almost too much in this one!!!
June 20th, 2014
I was just thinking, wow, this is what we are actually eating. Wonder what other fruits or vegetables do not look appetizing up close. Are the pink ones another variety or just young purple ones?
June 21st, 2014
@darsphotos Lol probably a lot of them. Some of these might have been past their prime too. The pink ones are the unripe ones.
June 21st, 2014
