Today the lady who owns this building saw me taking pictures of it and asked me why. She was excited to hear about 365 and happy to know her building is being featured by me once a week. Still plenty of options available for images.
Oh how funny, I'm sure she was surprised. This is a great capture. Love the textures you are showing.

LOVE this building! Love the composition with the foliage giving way to the rusty doorknob and peeling paint!

What a wonderful shot, Katy. Love that your primary subject is this doorknob. I learn something new all the time as I would not look at part of a door. FAV

@grammyn Yikes! Atlanta? That is a seriously big city for this country girl to drive in!

Seeing the artistic side of something people pass by is always good - for the photographer and for the recipient! Very nice!

Incredible textures in the paint. And then there is the living greenery against the aging building.

I froze up a bit when you said the lady was asking WHY you shot the pics. Then relaxed when you said she is glad! I am glad she is glad! I do wish you had been about to come here when you took this shot, but what the heck. A wreck precludes all of that.

@grammyn I'll think on that, but I do have plan B in mind as well. In the mean time, here is a link for you... http://amazinglytimedphotos.com/
