@grammyn @summerfield I sometimes have it with cream cheese and crackers, more often, on a home made bagel with Canadian bacon and a fried egg.

Oh my...that sounds right up my alley...my husband always jokes that I "like to have a little bagel with my cream cheese" and I eat jalapeños or peepers with every meal!

Hmm, is it hot? I do not like heat! Hate the after taste of chilli's but love paprika - I have said it before I am a strange girl!
Clever of you to make the jelly and lovely shot of the two together

The eyes are doing very well thanks for asking. I need to learn how to see again without glasses though! I have spent so much time putting object closer to my eyes to see and now the reverse is required so I must learn all new habits! ;~}

September 6th, 2014
@summerfield @grammyn okay, ladies!!!! I guess I get very impressed by the "white background high key done well" look. I loved both of your pepper pics! Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers." Or in Vicki's case, purple peppers!

@axika Sorry for taking so long to get back to you with this recipe. Please just say something so I know you got it. (;
6 jalapeño peppers
1 green bell pepper
1 red bell pepper
Remove seeds and chop into very small pieces.
110 grams of hot pepper ( the more seeds you leave the hotter it will be)
300 grams of red and green peppers for a total of 410 grams chopped peppers.
350 ml of cider vinegar
1300 grams of sugar
I pkg pectin. ( I used liquid. Not sure the dry will work as well)
Stir peppers and cider together.
Add sugar and bring to full boil
Stir in pectin and boil for 1 full minute
Ladle into jars and finish according to directions on pectin package.

I hope this is helpful and that it works for you. Good luck! Let me know if it works for you. (;

@axika Just to be clear the number of peppers listed should yield the amount listed under the chopped instruction.
October 3rd, 2014
@grammyn thank you very much, I'll check what I can find & try it ( did I get it right you chop the seeds separately & add them too?
October 3rd, 2014
@axika I was busy making my own batch of jelly and just saw this. I just left some of the seed in the hot peppers and chopped them all together. Don't leave ALL of them though or it will be too hot . I took ALL of the seeds out of the regular peppers though. I can't wait to hear how it turns out for you!
October 3rd, 2014
@grammyn just have to find time & pectin :)
October 3rd, 2014
@axika LOL! I totally understand THAT!
