Bottoms Up!

It was cold and windy today and just the thought of swimming in this water, let alone ducking into it chilled me to the bone. Apparently it didn't bother the duck!

I don't have a clue why but I love duck butts! They are just so funny when they dunk themselves under all in one motion. And you have super clarity here in each feather.

Ducks don't feel that cold water. There's no feeling in the feet and legs and they have those gorgeous down feathers to keep them warm.

someone must have told him to "Duck!" haha They do not get wet either...or bothered by cold. It looks awful to us. It has been cold here this weekend, huh?

We went from 80 to 55 in a day. 55 isn't really cold except when it changes so suddenly!

This is only (mildly) funny if you are reading my comments in the order I wrote them, Golden Fibonacci, Watch Cat and then this one. ;-)
Sort of strange to read how cold it is there. We're in the high 70's to low 80's and expecting to get up to near 90 later this week.

@pasadenarose We had 80s to 90s last week which is why 50s seems so cold right now. We are moving into winter though. Glad you like this little butt. It is so great to hear from you.
