So yesterday I showed you a picture of the recipe of a pie I was making and today I show you what is left of that pie and another I made to go along with it.
Wow, That looks so good, Pecan is one of my favorites. Our Daughter made a caramel pecan pumpkin pie for our dinner, now let me tell you, that was good too
Your composition skills never fail to amaze me! I did not make pecan pie this year and now I really want some! I made two pumpkin pies, though, and they were pretty darn good if I do say so myself... though I had enough compliments that I don't need to say so myself!
@marilyn You always say the nicest things! Pecan is Phil's favorite so that is what we have. cherry is one of mine but I like almost all kinds so............
That looks seriously YUMMY!! Alex made Pecan Pie for the Thanksgiving Dinner, a first time taste for me, it was delicious!! I was supposed to contribute Pumpkin Pie but although we searched high and low there were no tins of Pumpkin Pie mix to be found!!!!
@darsphotos Someone brought a store bought pumkin to our dinner which was one of the tastiest store boughts I have ever eaten. the crust wasn't very good but the pie was delicious!
@ruthmouch I find it so hard to believe there wasn't a pumpkin to be found that you could cook up to make a pie with. you could use sweet potatoes too for almost the same results. the spices should also have been available. Want me to send some home with Matt? ;~} Glad to hear you liked the Pecan pie!
@grammyn I was happy with the crust of our pie but the spices in this Claim Jumper brand pie were overpowering to me. Hubby ate most of the pie. lol Next time I will pick up a Costco pumpkin pie as they are always good and reasonable. Nice to have someone bring a pie. One less thing to do for you.
