There were a gazillion (maybe a few less) birds in our yard this cold morning availing themselves of the food I put out for them. In the golden hour morning light they looked especially appealing! I caught this one just as he took off from the tree towards the feeders. It wasn't quite this blurry in my viewfinder and now I wish my kitchen window was cleaner!
The window and motion made a nice soft focus! What is up with the birds lately? At the lake house, one neighbor has a gazillion robins flying all over their yard and in their yard.
Great timing. I quite like the blurriness, it adds the feel of motion. I'm sure it's far too cold to think about cleaning kitchen windows at the moment. Leave it for a few months ;)
