I "tried" to catch a cold a few weeks ago before I went to visit my parents but it never really took hold, which I was very grateful for. Traveling with a perpetually runny nose would not be fun! This week, however, l was much more successful. Here you see two of the three items I have been keeping very close at hand lately. I must confess I almost never use a thermometer. I don't need it to tell if I have a fever or not but it seemed to complete this scene.
I have that same thermometer. I only keep one because people cannot attend school if they have or have had a fever in last day. But I am scarily like my mom in that I do not seem to ever run a fever. I did as a younger adult but not now. Hmm... Wonder what is up. Mom would get mad she did not because she could have horrible pneumonia but the nurse on the phone always dismissed it all when mom admitted she had no fever. Poor mama. I miss that lady. Anyway... I am sorry for your successful acquisition if the cold. :0( get better, my friend!
@espyetta With my hot flashes it is difficult to know if I have a fever or not! Sorry my picture made you sad about your mom too! Thanks for the well wishes, though, about the cold! slowly improving.
Excellent story telling capture in black and white. I must confess the strength and shortness of the black-and-white caught my attention before the subject did. I hope your cold is better by now.
As always, your eye for composition did not let you down but let you know that you needed that thermometer to complete the scene. I am also feeling under the weather today and am pretty sure our flights home will not be much fun for me.
