lnvention's Mother

Dilated eye's today left me unmotivated and unable to see very well until the end of the day! Still an offering for my project is necessary, so here ya go!
I feel as if I am now under interrogation! Hope your eye gets much better very quickly!

@maggiemae LOL! Where were you on the night of..............?!
The dilation is about gone but they have a few problems that apparently will never get better than they are now.

i swear, it wasn't me. i didn't do it! i didn't do it! i didn't eat all the cakes in the cake shop's fridge! nah, wasn't me! it took me a while to figure out which light it was. i had to go back a third time and that's when it hit me! ceiling lamp!

Eye dilation is not fun, hope your appoint was good. I'm also happy with my change of diagnosis... big difference. Thanks for sharing the excitement, Katy.

Rather clever shot don't ya think? The lighting is great and that is all you need.
Hope the eye sorts itself soon

Love the low key capture.

@anazad511 it wasn't a big deal except I couldn't see to do much of anything for the rest of the day. It wasn't really great news for my eyes either but nothing seriously bad so I'm okay.

@claireuk i'm certainly glad you think so, Claire! Thank you so very much!

The eyes are what they are not great but nothing really bad either.

@bill_fe thanks Bill! It's kind of funny that I started out wanting to do a high key shot for the night and I ended up with this instead!

This almost made my eyes hurt and want to squint! Excellently composed and shot. Sorry the eyes are not improved, but like I said about my slightly impaired vision, it's better than it was and better than I thought it might be... qué sera, sera.

I like the lighting in your photo, Katy. This bright light is like taking sunset photos when the sun has not gone down as much as I would like. Sorry to hear that your vision will not improve beyond where it is now. I hope it is not too bad to live with.

Very creative, as always. Sorry to hear not much improvement in the eyes. But I'm sure you'll be able to cope!
February 15th, 2015
@marilyn thanks bunches! It will just take some getting used to for me to constantly see moving blobs in front of my vision!

@darsphotos I appreciate that Darlene thank you so much. Actually I have 2020 vision but there are some issues with something that looks like floaters maybe in my eyes. When I looked down and look up that it's like a veil passes in front of my eyes and so as long as I'm holding them still I can see fine but if I move my eyes there is a shadow that passes across my vision and I have to wait for a minute for it to readjust.

@kwiksilver thanks so much Gillian! My vision is actually not bad but I have cloudy spots in my eyes the come and go when I move my eyes and that makes it frustrating at times.

@grammyn I am sorry that you have to live with your vision like that, Katy. I bet you will somewhat get used to it. Is it from the accident or your cataracts? I just got another pair of new glasses yesterday and am adjusting pretty well to them. The other ones fell of me and scratched the left lens and the Optometrist would not replace that lens for me, plus I was in a too heavy frame so got a light weight one that works with taking photos. Take care.

@darsphotos Thanks Darlene! i am led to believe it is old age that causes it! I have no choice but to deal with it as there is nothing to be done for it!
February 18th, 2015
@grammyn Not a very good benefit of old age. Not that you are very old though, about the same as me or younger. You have to deal with what you are given. I guess the only thing you can say is that you are lucky you can see. How life can change.
