l've not seen this kind in my yard before. I also saw a cardinal and I think a woodpecker but that was before I ran for my camera! I spent most of the day putting up Christmas decorations and decided to wait at least until tomorrow before I start posting those photos or it will be a long month indeed.
Yup, the GA State Bird. Brown Thrasher. Great birds, skittish. Saw one this summer who was getting bugs for the wee ones in a neighbor's yard. Never saw the nest, but saw where it was going. Heard they can be quite territorial, so I kept my distance!

Our state bird...I see everyone has told you. They are hard to get pics of as they hide under bushes a lot....scurry out fast....and run back under the bush. Good job!
