Patterns In the Window

Working with my histogram on my camera (l found where it was and what to do with it) for the Flash of Red Challenge http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/27112/flash-of-red-february-returns has helped a bit with my B&W photos. Still lots to learn but Ann is a terrific inspiration!

nice, looks like you blew out some of the whites which works for this photo. Guessing you have a big peak to the far left of the histogram.

Like some of you still learning about the histogram but glad to know at least how to find it on my camera! Still not sure what good it is because I don't really understand it all yet! Glad you like the shot! I upped the contrast a bit in post processing so that probably influenced the outcome from the histogram too.

The glowing pattern looks so cool!! I know a little about the histogram but I rarely pay attention to it. I should try learning more about it again.
