Lesson Learned

love you dad ♥

I am not sure this is going to be right. I looked for work from Picasso and found this image https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lessonthis.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2010%2F11%2Fpicasso-portraits-finished-piece-350x394.jpg&imgrefurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lessonthis.com%2Fart%2Fpicasso-portraits%2F&docid=ZG7-cBE_6TljGM&tbnid=-fBgzlqn6sQoXM%3A&w=350&h=394&ved=0ahUKEwjW_JSey_jLAhWDQCYKHZZ-B_oQxiAIAg&iact=c&ictx=1 which I thought was his work. There is a possibility that it is only a lesson in how to make cubist portraits and not his work. Either way it inspired me to this photograph for the artist challenge.
ha! Iove it Katy - it is a lesson - I do similar ones with kids at school when I get a chance

this is fun. I had stared a long time at tht eye on the left. When I clicked on the link, I saw that it's upside down!

The link looks like it's showing you pictures that others did in the style of Picasso, but from what I can remember of my art history and Picasso's portraits, none of them are his. However, they do embody several of his different periods and quite well, so it helped you produce a good liking too! Well done Katy!

I agree this is really cool. Just when you think there are no more ways to play with a photo then you see or find this. Well done, Katy.

@annied @moviegal1 @linnypinny @marilyn @dyanstevens @paulavdmerwe @bill_fe @dishaparekh176 @francoise @olivetreeann @darsphotos thanks to all of you for all of your comments and support. It means so much to me to know that even though I got it wrong you still are positive about it. It was not as successful as I wanted it to be but it was a good learning experience and good practice.

I love how a couple of the images are upside-down! You did an excellent job on this work of art! :)

Your editing is really cool. I don't think you got it wrong, as you said. Your image makes me think and look at portraits a little differently by drawing attention to different aspects of her face. Maybe Picasso was trying to do that, too?
