Periphery

As a rule I try not to post too many flowers unless there is something a little unusual about them. I think this iris may fit that criteria. I love the two toned look of it as if someone took a paintbrush and lightly skimmed the edges of the petals with violet stain.
Love ya bunches dad♥
It's beautiful and I like the unique pov too!

What a beautiful subject. Intact, unlike my Iris which have been nibbled to rags by the snails. Gorgeous. Fav!

I've been trying to be careful with too many flowers too but sometimes you find one that you can't help but shoot. This one is formed beautifully with amazing color!

I love the POV and the contrast between bricks and flower. Great detail and colors. Plus, I'm not sure you can post too many flower shots. . . .

Sometimes that helps to make something a bit mundane a little more interesting. Having the brick background helped with that too I think. I'm glad you have a similar one Lisa and I wonder if this motivated you to take your great snail shots Daisy? Thanks especially to all of you who gave this one a FAV and please forgive me for being so slow to respond to all your great comments
