I mentioned sharing gifts with my Jewish friend the other day and since Hanukkah is a full month BEFORE Christmas this year I have been trying to get everything lined up so I can focus on Thanksgiving, which is just a few days before the beginning of Hanukkah. Most of the presents are wrapped with only one more to finish up and wrap. This is how they looked tonight.
oooh! presents! i love wrapping presents. back in the days, when i wrap a present, i always match the wrapper with the receiver's personality. i love the colours of your papers. aces!
Perfect colors for Hanukkah! (And… bragging break… for the Oakesdale Nighthawks, whose girls just won the state volleyball championship AND the state academic championship for the season!)
Back to the photo… you have done a great job of showing all the parts of gift wrapping and, of course, have composed them beautifully.
@summerfield I think I may have done that at one point too but with so many grands now I don't take the time to do that anymore thanks bunches for you nice comment @ludwigsdiana Thank you and they are all for one friend. One for each of the eight days of Hanukkah. Many of them are home made and none of them are very expensive. @marilyn Oh! congratulations to your girls! A terrific accompolishment as I know all the talent for both comes from the same group of girls! Thankk you too for the kind comment @shutterbug49 I am so glad you like it Debbie thanks @madamelucy That is very kind of you to say! They are mostly hand made and inexpensive gifts. @eudora Thanks Diane. It isn't easy to find Hanukkah wrapping paper in a small Southern town! @serendypyty That is really nice of you Cazzi Thank you so much @wakelys I appreciate that Sue thanks bunches @salza Thanks Sally. Just as Christmas is red and green, Hanukkah is blues and white. @gijsje That is so nice of you to say Bep thanks so much @lesip LOL! No one has ever accused me of that before!
